There’s A New CHAT In Town
Nominations Open for 2H 2023 Global Malwords Index
In our previous post, we discussed the telltale signs of government-media-generated atrocity, the most recent of which we have been following over the past three and a half years through the frequencies (in WPM, or words per million linguistic units) of thirty-two COVID / Pandemic-related keywords in the news corpus, appearing across 200+ online periodicals publishing an average of 300,000 articles per month.
As these keywords have been weaponized against targeted populations, their statistical lifecycle in the corpus has taken on a familiar pattern which we have called the Malwords Curve, comprising three stages:
- Pre-Curve, which test-markets the new term and puts up the store front;
- Curve, is launch phase, characterized by a rapid, exponential liftoff and sudden plunge;
- Post-Curve is the long, asymptotic glide path which starts with a small uptick, or “bump,” and inaugurates a period in which primary-objective atrocities are implemented.
In the graph below, we can see how eight primary pandemic-related malwords (WPM>100) follow an 11-13 month cycle, hit the bump, and go into decline. Even UKRAINE, two years out of sync with the COVID cohort, follows the same pattern.
Is this proof of a Deep State psy-op to deliberately manipulate public perception and sentiment? That is beyond the scope of this publication to determine. What we have observed is a strong correlation over the last century between appearance of the Malwords Curve, and patterns of government-sponsored atrocities against citizens.
And in the follow-ons to January 2021, 2022, and 2023, there is plenty of anecdotal atrocity to go around— We The People’s Republic has been replaced in a reverse color revolution by They The Oligarch’s Democracy, with formal surrender taking place on May 30, when Speaker Kevin McCarthy handed over the keys to the debt ceiling.
The chart below shows a volume-weighted index of the thirty-two COVID-era terms, providing an even more pronounced “double-bump” picture.
Simultaneously, an ascendant set of next-gen terms which we are tentatively calling the TRANS Index—including keywords TRANS, GENDER-AFFIRMING, AI, GENERATIVE, LARGE LANGUAGE, CENSOR, and BIOMETRIC— is completing its Pre-Curve Phase in the same May time frame:
Add CHAT GPT to this mix, and we are already well into the Curve Phase of a brand-new world:
A Brave New Word
Call me Jeremiah or call me realist— the COVID Pandemic is over. It has achieved its primary objective of stripping the infrastructure by which People of Conscience can mount an opposition to globalist priorities.
The Alamo has been fought and lost. Heroes died heroes’ deaths, waiting for reinforcements that never came— the 2020 Legal Challenge, the 2021 Cyber Symposium, the 2022 Midterms, the 2023 Debt Ceiling Showdown, and now the 2024 Presidential—
One last stand after another.
At some point, the strategic failure of conservatism in general and of populism in particular must be pointed out—and will— under cover of weightier thought leaders, once the coast is clear for voicing the by-now painfully obvious— that there was never a grand strategy, and we were fighting off those who had one.
The malwords are moving on, and so must we—to a San Jacinto strategy more aligned for victory than simply manning the ramparts against the latest assault.
Theirs was. It paid off.
And there’s a new CHAT in town.
Step 1: New Malwords— Submit Your Nominations for the 2H 2023 Global Malwords Index
We’re tracking tyranny now. What are the vectors and indicators of the next atrocity? We’ve tossed together a salad of a promising half dozen in the chart above.
What other keywords should we be tracking?

Step 2: New Strategy: Real Color, Real Revolution
They are already telling us that 2024 Election is now our real last stand, that it is do or die for America, this is the most important election of our entire lives, and there is no substitute for victory.
Anyone who has not heard that before? You’re needed at the Western Front.
Holding the line against the orcs has not moved us forward. For three and a half years. Maybe all of one inch. Is that sinking in, ye People of Conscience?
Because nations everywhere have thrown off dictators, tyrants, oligarchs, and surveillance states with no Second Amendment rights.
How did they do it?
Not by retreating to Helm’s Deep.
Pick up From Dictatorship to Democracy by Gene Sharp, on Amazon. It’s a 130-page handbook for taking down dictators without firing a shot.
It’s cheap—maybe ten bucks— but don’t kid yourself: our government has been using its methods to take down tyrants and install Western-style democracies for almost a quarter century.
The strategies in this book work— so effectively that in Myanmar you could be jailed by the junta for up to seven years for simply having it in your possession. And more and more it’s looking like its proven prescriptions were used to install the Chinese puppet regime that occupies the nation’s capital.
But good news—if it’s good enough for the government to use against its own people, it’s good enough for us to use against them.
Our government has been using the nonviolent methods of Gene Sharp’s Dictatorship to Democracy to take down dictators and install democracies for the last quarter century. If it works for them it will work for us
Read a few pages and it’s immediately obvious why populist nationalist movements are falling far short of their potentials.
Hint: elections are the last step to taking down tyranny, not the first.
Five words and a short read.
That’s your homework for hitting the reset button.
Thank you for reading, and have a great Malwords Week!
Malwords are keywords weaponized for information warfare. They function within public discourse as intellectual malware, verbal viruses designed to spread quickly for the purposes of a) silencing dissent through control of language, narrative, and speech, b) increasing public tolerance for government-sanctioned atrocity and c) emboldening officials to commit acts of atrocity.
Malword strength is measured by their frequency of appearance in the published body of language (corpus), and expressed in words per million (WPM) linguistic units (words, numbers, symbols, acronyms, etc).
Malword WPM’s typically follow a three-phase lifecycle: Pre-Curve test-markets the new term and puts up the store front; Curve, is launch phase, characterized by a rapid, exponential liftoff and sudden plunge; Post-Curve is a long, asymptotic tail and is the period in which primary-objective atrocities are implemented.
