I have used stinging nettle for allergies for a while now and it has worked wonderfully. I use various other herbs to make the tea taste good. In the summer I wonder through the garden and pick them fresh. Last summer I did a combo of lemongrass, spearmint, apple mint, nettles and stevia. I throw them in a 1/2 gallon jar cover with hot
water. Strain when cool. Keep in the fridge and drink when thirsty. I use about 1/4 cup of dried nettles for 1/2 gallon tea. This combo is now my very favorite. Sometimes I do chamomile and elderflower though for variety with the stinging nettle. It only takes about a tablespoon of dried stevia leaves to sweeten a half gallon of tea and it is pretty sweet if that is what you like.
