After Many Attacks, ‘America First’ NYC Former Mayor Celebrates Unbowed
RONKONKOMA, N.Y. — Friends, supporters, political activists, and community leaders gathered at the America First Warehouse in Ronkonkoma to celebrate the 82nd birthday of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a man whose public service career has left an enduring mark on New York City and the nation.

The crowd was spirited and patriotic, celebrating not just Giuliani’s birthday but America’s 250th birthday as well, showering the former mayor with affection, gratitude, and heartfelt admiration.
Giuliani, who served as New York City’s 107th mayor from January 1, 1994, through December 31, 2001, was honored throughout the evening as guests reflected on his decades of service as a federal prosecutor, mayor, attorney, and national political figure.
For many Americans, Giuliani’s legacy is forever linked to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. During one of the darkest moments in the nation’s history, he became widely known as “America’s Mayor” for his steady leadership, constant communication, and visible presence at Ground Zero as New Yorkers and the entire country struggled to comprehend the devastation.

The celebration carried added significance given Giuliani’s recent health battle. Several speakers noted that only weeks earlier he had faced a serious medical crisis, making his appearance before a packed crowd all the more meaningful.
One of the event organizers, affectionately known as “Tee Mac,” recalled being inspired by Giuliani’s leadership during the September 11 attacks.
“I was 20 years old when 9/11 happened,” he said. “I was mesmerized by Mayor Rudy Giuliani. He sparked my interest in politics and became one of my all-time favorite political figures.”
The evening was hosted at the America First Warehouse, the patriotic gathering venue built by businessman Joe “The Box” and his wife Toni. Over the years, the warehouse has become a hub for conservative events, community gatherings, and political discussions on Long Island.
Joe’s friendship with Giuliani spans many years. Supporters often recount how he stood by the former mayor during difficult periods in recent years, including legal and financial challenges that followed Giuliani’s involvement as attorney to President Donald Trump during disputes surrounding the 2020 presidential election.
Following his mayoralty, Giuliani remained active in public life and national politics. He became one of President Trump’s most visible legal advisers, defending the president during numerous legal and political controversies. His efforts related to challenges to the 2020 election results led to multiple investigations and state-level indictments. Giuliani and his supporters maintained that he was acting within his role as an attorney advocating for his client, while prosecutors alleged unlawful efforts to overturn the election outcome.

During a period of unprecedented legal and political uncertainty following the 2020 election, supporters argued that the prosecutions that followed reflected weaponization and broader effort by the Biden-era Justice Department to aggressively pursue anyone who dared challenge the election results.
One of the evening’s attendees was retired New York City police officer Sarah Carpenter, whose life was dramatically altered by the events surrounding January 6, 2021. Carpenter has become a known figure among grassroots conservative activists, often sharing her story of prosecution and incarceration following her presence at the U.S. Capitol that day. Standing alongside fellow patriots at the America First Warehouse, she joined supporters in celebrating Mayor Giuliani, a man many in the movement view as a champion of constitutional rights, due process, and the pursuit of justice.
Many attendees expressed admiration for Giuliani’s willingness to continue speaking publicly despite years of legal battles, financial hardships, and intense political scrutiny. Several described him as a public servant who dedicated much of his life to fighting organized crime, reducing crime in New York City, and leading the city through extraordinary challenges.
A highlight of the evening came when Christopher Macchio, widely known as “America’s Tenor,” led guests in a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Birthday” before delivering a stirring performance of “God Bless America.” The crowd enthusiastically joined in, creating one of the night’s most memorable moments.
Guests included members of the DJT Club led by President Jimmy Wagner, social media personality Shawn Michael, known online as “Midnight,” candidates for public office, local activists, and supporters from across Long Island and the New York metropolitan area.
Addressing the crowd, Giuliani spoke candidly about his recent health scare and shared a deeply personal story about a vivid dream he experienced while hospitalized. The former mayor told attendees that he felt grateful to be alive, surrounded by family, friends, and supporters.
He also encouraged those in attendance to remain active and engaged in civic life, emphasizing the importance of preserving American traditions and values for future generations.
Throughout the night, guests lined up for photographs, autographs, and brief conversations with the former mayor. Despite the size of the crowd, Giuliani ensured that he would greet each and every attendee individually, drawing appreciation from supporters who traveled distances to attend the celebration.
As the evening concluded, one theme remained constant among speakers and attendees alike: regardless of political affiliation, Rudy Giuliani’s place in New York history is secure. From his years as a prosecutor battling organized crime, to his tenure as mayor, to his nationally recognized leadership during the aftermath of September 11, supporters believe his contributions have left a lasting imprint on both the city he loves and the country he served.
For those gathered at the America First Warehouse, the occasion was more than a birthday celebration. It was an opportunity to honor a figure they view as one of New York’s most consequential public servants and to wish him continued health, happiness, and many more years ahead.

At 82 years old, Rudy Giuliani remains, to many Americans, a symbol of courage under fire, patriotism, resilience in adversity, and devotion to the country he has spent a lifetime serving.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Mayor.
