Wynn-Williams’ complaint reveals the extent to which Facebook (before rebranding as Meta) allegedly went to build a presence in China. Zuckerberg has since shifted focus toward promoting “free expression” on Meta platforms, with recent changes including the discontinuation of fact-checking in favor of community-driven initiatives.
