“Trump Announces Three-Way Talks on War in Munich”
SUMMARY: President Donald Trump announced that U.S., Russian, and Ukrainian officials would meet at a security conference in Munich to discuss ending the war in Ukraine. However, Russia, which is not officially attending the conference, did not comment, and a senior Ukrainian official indicated no plans for talks with Russia there. Trump also indicated that NATO membership for Ukraine and a return to pre-2014 borders were “unlikely.” Zelensky rejected the idea of peace talks between the U.S. and Russia without Ukraine’s involvement, stressing that any peace deal must include Kyiv’s security guarantees.
European leaders, including French President Macron and EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, expressed concern that any peace deal made without Ukraine’s full participation would be unacceptable and detrimental to all. Zelensky’s goal in Munich is to secure continued U.S. support, while the U.S. may press for Ukraine to relinquish some territory in exchange for peace. The war, which began after Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea, has caused hundreds of thousands of casualties and displaced millions of civilians.

Who cares what Macron, Germany and UK want? The approval of those leaders is very low and our money funded the proxy war. Russia and the US are the main parties. Zelensky is illegitimate and will crater peace because war is what keeps him in office
