“Senate Report Validates DailyClout’s Myocarditis Investigations”
A new U.S. Senate report released today accuses top federal health officials under the Biden administration of failing to warn the public about known risks of myocarditis and pericarditis linked to COVID-19 vaccines—especially in young males—and of deliberately downplaying those risks. The findings are based on subpoenaed documents and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests reviewed by the Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, chaired by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.).
The interim report claims that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), including agencies such as the CDC and FDA, withheld or delayed critical safety information that could have altered public perception and potentially influenced vaccine decision-making during key stages of the national COVID-19 response.
“U.S. health officials knew about the risks of myocarditis, downplayed the health concern, and delayed informing the public,” the report’s executive summary states.

The Senate’s findings affirm reporting first published by DailyClout, which began exposing the myocarditis cover-up through investigative research and analysis as early as September 2023. On September 20, October 18, and November 2 of 2023, DailyClout released detailed reports authored by medical experts and FOIA investigators that revealed the CDC had evidence of cardiac risks from COVID-19 vaccines months before issuing any public warning.
DailyClout’s reporting included whistleblower disclosures, internal CDC meeting notes, and unredacted documents suggesting a coordinated effort to suppress the myocarditis signal in VAERS and to avoid public alerts. These investigations laid the groundwork for what the Senate subcommittee has now confirmed: that federal agencies deliberately chose not to inform the public about risks that had been internally acknowledged and documented.

A Pattern of Delay and Suppression
Central to the Senate report is the charge that health authorities first detected a significant safety signal for myocarditis in the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) as early as February 19, 2021—but waited until May 28, 2021, to publicly mention the condition in an online “clinical considerations” update.
VAERS is co-managed by the CDC and FDA and serves as a federal early warning system for vaccine-related side effects. According to a peer-reviewed study by Children’s Health Defense (CHD) scientists Karl Jablonowski and Brian Hooker, the system showed a statistically significant association between COVID-19 vaccines and myocarditis in males aged 8 to 21 well before public acknowledgment.
Despite this internal recognition, the report documents that the CDC opted against issuing a formal Health Alert Network (HAN) message, which would have quickly disseminated the risk to healthcare providers nationwide.
Previously Redacted Records Now Released
The Senate subcommittee released over 2,400 pages of documents, many of which had previously been redacted or withheld entirely. Among them is a 17-page set of Biden White House talking points, circulated in late May 2021, that downplayed vaccine-related cardiac risks while promoting broad uptake. These talking points were shared among top officials including Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, and Dr. Francis Collins—just days before the CDC finally acknowledged the myocarditis issue.
The subcommittee questions why the administration sought to suppress the document, calling its content “embarrassing in retrospect” and “misleading to the public.”
Communication Gaps and Missed Warnings
The report also cites emails and meeting notes showing high-ranking officials expressing confusion or ignorance about the myocarditis signal. On May 27, 2021, Dr. Peter Marks, then-director of the FDA’s biologics division, emailed CDC leadership saying he still wasn’t certain myocarditis had “signaled,” despite CDC technical working group notes from three days earlier confirming the signal in young men.
The CDC’s V-safe program was also criticized for failing to include cardiac symptoms in its user prompts. The oversight meant individuals experiencing symptoms of myocarditis would not have been able to easily report them through the tool, limiting visibility into real-world adverse events.
Acknowledgment of Independent Investigators
The Senate report credits a wide array of independent researchers and journalists who pushed for public transparency when official agencies would not. Among those acknowledged were Naomi Wolf, Amy Kelly, Ed Berkovich, Zachary Stieber, Brian Hooker, and others who worked to expose concealed vaccine safety data long before Congress intervened.
A spokesperson for the subcommittee stated:
“These individuals worked persistently to expose the truth about the association of myocarditis with the COVID-19 vaccines. We are grateful for their efforts.”
Ongoing Oversight and Hearings
Today’s report is labeled “interim” because HHS is still in the process of complying with subpoenas. Sen. Johnson, who has issued more than 70 oversight letters since 2021, continues to press for full transparency and accountability.
The subcommittee will host a hearing later today titled “The Corruption of Science and Federal Health Agencies: How Health Officials Downplayed and Hid Myocarditis and Other Adverse Events Associated with the COVID-19 Vaccines.”
