“Beloved UK actor Laurence Fox, scion of a storied entertainment family, has been speaking out—almost alone among well-known British actors—against infringements on liberty in that nation.
Perhaps unrelatedly—or not—he has recently been accused of a criminal sexual offense. He says he reposted a sexual image of an influencer that, according to him, she had posted herself and that had already been shared by thousands.
Meanwhile, UK police are barely investigating vast ‘rape gangs’ that are grooming, torturing, and raping minor girls in at least 45 towns.

I am almost speechless about the tyranny that seems to have taken hold of the UK in recent months -arresting the most innocent for “speech crimes” – or what we would call peaceful “protests” in the USA. The blatant abandonment of fairness and justice, including the threatening and alarming presence of many police engaged in intimidation and arrests – not seen before by the British people of today.
(Maybe naively of me, but I can’t help but think that Queen Elizabeth what make clear her surprise and disapproval. . . and where’s Winston Churchill when we need him?! )
Re the criminal charge against Lawrence Fox, it seems an absurd application of the law given the facts, but damaging to him nevertheless – even if he is found innocent.
These well-publicized cases of similar deliberate abuses of power and the law by the police and Justice system – including the actual imprisonment of some, have to be viewed as clearly designed to frighten and oppress the people of Britain. Is there one official or elected leader speaking out against this? Where are they? Lately, I’m hearing more people talk about the reason we have the 2nd Amendment here . . .
