The church I attend was so weak it made me sick. They went full kow tow to General Lightfoot here in Chicago. After being open continuosly for over 100 years they let the authority of GOVT mandate them closed. But hey the pot shops that had been open for just over 3 months in IL no problem (pot legal 01/01/20) pedaling their wares. Unreal how comfortable, thusly compliant, most churches have become. Would they have complied the same way in 1934 in Germany? From what I’ve seen absolutely yes.
