Opinion: “Meghan Mansell, Florida-based ADA, OSHA and PPE Specialist, Warns That Masks Seriously Harm Children’s Linguistic Development”
Meghan Mansell, Florida-based ADA, OSHA and PPE specialist, warns that masks seriously harm children’s linguistic development, as children learn to make words and sounds by observing the mouth, teeth and tongue. Mansell cautions that kids will need months of speech therapy as a result of policies masking children in schools.
She also warns that aerosol studies involving safe distancing have been mis-reported and are thus now misinterpreted in the policies of many states’ mask mandates, with people masking when it’s not necessary and not wearing masks when they should — only, she warns, around immunocompromised people, who should receive special accommodations ro protect them from coronavirus. But she explains that we should treat everyone as if they are immunocompromised, as we are now doing.
She also explains that cloth masks do little to protect anyone and that PPE masks actually aerosolize what would otherwise be droplets that would fall to the ground. This means, she warns, that one endangers others by wearing such a mask, as aerosolized viral particles reach further than do droplets, and spend more time in the air.
Lastly, Mansell cautions that asking anything at all about, or making any policy based upon vaccine status — such as the proposed “vaccine passports” in New York State — is completely illegal; it is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which forbids any inquiry at all about medical status or any discrimination at all based on Americans’ physical or medical conditions.

We had a four year old niece come and live with my family for several months after coming out of a very neglectful home life. Her speech was horribly impaired, we could barely understand her. The family member that was raising her would just roll her eyes and say “I don’t know what she’s saying.” I would sit her in my lap and have her watch my mouth as we worked on words she struggled with. She was speaking clearly in just a few weeks.
I can’t even imagine what this time is doing to children, particularly those that sit in daycares and preschools as their teachers and caretakers all wear masks. The local community college child development center is “training” kids to wear masks all day and line up hourly for temperature checks. It’s sickening. They know exactly what they are doing to these kids and no one is speaking out for them.
Babies learn to read people’s facial expressions for social ques like when a person is safe and when a person is not safe. How are they going to know if they can’t develop or perfect the art of reading facial expressions?
This was one of my very first concerns as an early childhood educator.

Totally illegal, immoral, against US & international law & the Nuremberg Codes.
