Dr Wolf, I practice Christian Science – and will be 82 tomorrow – just started taking blood pressure medicine these past months – but western medicine has destroyed the organic medicines – and the human to take care of ourself as we grow old. The legislature is trying to get supplements and tonics off the market over the last 30 years at least. My mother, sister and brother are died of cancer – I take curcamin for about 20 years now – a Dr at MD Anderson got fired years ago because he found curcumin cured cancer.
Love you
Linda
What a great video, thank you Dr. Wolf. I did additional research on how to create the mauby coconut water beverage. When you boil the bark and spices, that creates a concentrated base that you dilute more and then add coconut water. If you drink the original concentrated base, it is very very bitter. This is what I did:
4 cups water
4 to 5 Mauby bark pieces
2 bay leaves
1 star anise
1 tsp star anise seeds
1 stick cinnamon
4 or 5 cloves
Stevia drops to taste (or sugar)
Boil for 4 or 5 minutes until frothy. Let steep for an hour. Strain the concentrated mixture.
For the drink:
1 part concentrated mauby mixture – 1 part additional water – 1 part organic coconut water
Enjoy hot or add ice for a cold drink.
This recipe makes the drink very enjoyable
You can also add Molasses or Maple Syrup to enrich the flavor
