CITIZENS’ CORNER: Concerned Email Regarding Disney’s New Fingerprint Entry
We receive hundreds of emails from concerned members every day, today’s email comes from an anonymous poster regarding Disney’s recent entry requirements–fingerprinting at the gate. Disney states that they only collect this data to prevent fraud, further claiming to delete the bio-metric data directly after collection–not storing or selling it. However, one might ask themselves, if this data is in fact being deleted directly after use, how does it help prevent fraud long term?
