Kay Gottschalk, born December 1965, in Hamburg, Germany, is a politician and member of the German Bundestag since 2017, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD). A co-founder of the AfD, he has served as the party’s financial policy spokesperson since 2018 and was deputy federal spokesperson from 2017 to 2019, re-elected in 2024. Gottschalk holds a double degree in business administration and law and worked as an insurance manager before entering politics. He resides in Nettetal and has been active in North Rhine-Westphalia’s AfD, serving as deputy state chairman since 2022.”
