“TikTok CENSORS Account For Discussing Harrison Butker’s Graduation Speech”
Kate Hildreth, host of The Rogue Millennial, argues that while banning platforms like TikTok could potentially be an attack on freedom of speech, TikTok itself is censoring people. Hildreth explains her own experience of creating a TikTok account, only to be permanently banned less than 24 hours later for “violating community guidelines”. What happened to freedom of speech, opinion, and expression?

EDIT: As of June 18th, Hildreth’s account was restored without explanation. Even though the account was restored, Hildreth concluded that social media apps that censor or ban their users for sharing “dissident” opinions, do not value freedom of speech. Hildreth has since deleted her TikTok account, and uninstalled the app.
