Children’s Health Defense Protest TOMORROW, May 19th!
Hello FB protest speakers!
Here are the final details that you will need for the event on May 19th!
Arrival Time:
We have pushed the arrival time up to 2:30pm, with a hard arrival time of 2:45. You will find better parking if you arrive before the demonstrators do. We will leave our meeting location at 3:10 pm to walk two blocks to the speaking area. Please arrive before 2:45pm so things flow smoothly. Thank you!

Parking:
The earlier you arrive the better the parking. There is some parking in front of SAJJ , however, those spots may fill up quickly. There is an abundance of residential street parking off of Hamilton Ave.  See map.
Come prepared:
This will be a nitty gritty grass roots protest. There will be no stage, no podiums or no big screens. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking and standing. We will be using a PA sound system with a hand-held wireless mic and a daisy chain of speakers. The restrooms are at SAJJ Mediterranean where we are meeting. Please feel free to tip them generously and express your gratitude as we descend upon them for this event. We did not get a permit for porta-potties. Remember, Facebook is the property manager for the that strip mall. Let’s stay on their good side!
Speaking Time:
Your speaking time has a hard stop of 5:00 minutes. Please practice your speech so you can plan to fit it into 5 minutes. There will be a time keeper and a hard stop.
