Whistleblower: Bill Barr Plotted Secret Trump Prosecutions
A whistleblower now living under political asylum has come forward with explosive claims that Bill Barr secret meetings with prominent Washington insiders were used to coordinate prosecutions against Donald Trump, his allies, and January 6 defendants. The evidence, obtained by Project Veritas, includes extensive handwritten notes, photos, and text messages allegedly documenting covert strategy sessions from 2021 to 2023.
Patrícia Lélis, a former employee of Armstrong Williams’ media company, Howard Stirk Holdings, says she attended dozens of meetings involving former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr, Williams, CNN commentator Shermichael Singleton, and other high-profile figures. According to Lélis, the central purpose was to block Trump’s political comeback by targeting him and key supporters through legal action.
Her notes detail a September 13, 2021, meeting in which Barr provided a list of individuals to investigate, including Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Stewart Rhodes, Enrique Tarrio, Jeffrey Clark, and leaders of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys. Many of these figures were later subpoenaed or charged in connection with January 6 or the 2020 election.
Lélis also documented a March 15, 2022, meeting where Barr allegedly discussed cases with Fulton County DA Fani Willis and Special Counsel Jack Smith, even predicting an FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate months before it happened. Notes from a February 27, 2023, meeting claim Barr advised Willis to pursue RICO charges, describing them as broad and difficult to defend against.
Beyond legal strategy, Lélis says the network worked with Facebook’s Government and Politics Manager, Danielle Kersey, to push “anti-Trump” narratives on social media and “alter the algorithm” to sway Republican voters away from Trump.
After Lélis reported Williams and Barr to the FBI in 2023, she says she was met with threats, demands to return her documents, and an apparent DOJ cover-up to protect Barr. Texts show panic among Williams’ associates, with one message allegedly threatening her life.
Lélis now faces DOJ charges related to a visa scheme at Howard Stirk Holdings—charges she denies—while no charges have been filed against Williams or others involved. Project Veritas says future reports will detail more alleged corruption, including illegal lobbying, foreign bribes, and the use of burner phones to communicate with government officials.
If the whistleblower’s allegations are accurate, these Bill Barr secret meetings may represent one of the most coordinated behind-the-scenes efforts to interfere with a political opponent in modern U.S. history.
