ICAN Forces FDA to Release 600,000+ Pages of Pfizer Vaccine EUA Data
The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) has announced a landmark legal victory resulting in the release of over 600,000 pages of Pfizer vaccine EUA data—documents the FDA used to authorize Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), but never disclosed to the public until now.
The story began after the FDA granted full approval to Pfizer’s vaccine in August 2021. At that time, ICAN’s legal team filed suit to compel the FDA to release all data used to license the product. That lawsuit led to the release of over 1 million pages of vaccine records.
However, ICAN’s attorneys soon discovered that the FDA had withheld an additional 600,000+ pages related specifically to the vaccine’s Emergency Use Authorization—the earliest and most controversial phase of the rollout.
In late 2024, ICAN returned to federal court, demanding that the FDA produce the remaining EUA documentation. In a resounding legal victory, the court agreed. The presiding judge stated in his ruling:
“The Covid-19 pandemic is long passed and so has any legitimate reason for concealing from the American people the information relied upon by the government in approving the Pfizer Vaccine.”
The final batch of documents was received in June 2025, and ICAN has now made the full dataset available to the public via its website.
ICAN has encouraged journalists, researchers, and everyday citizens alike to download and review the newly available material. Given the significance of the data and the government’s efforts to conceal it, ICAN believes that transparency is long overdue.
This case marks one of the most significant legal wins in the ongoing push for medical transparency and accountability in the wake of the pandemic.
