Finding Our Voices After the Tyranny of the Pandemic
Mindful activist, Ora Nadrich, speaks with best-selling health author Shiva Rose about speaking up in the wellness community during the pandemic, when so many remained silent. Shiva shares stories about how the tyranny we are facing in our country is reminiscent of her childhood growing up in Iran during the revolution.
Shiva Rose is the author of the best selling book Whole Beauty, and creator/alchemist of the non toxic skincare line Shiva Rose Beauty. After being diagnosed with three life threatening auto immune diseases, Shiva began her pursuit of healing and clean living. She started her life style web site The Local Rose in 2009, to document her journey, and the skin care line evolved from her kundalini meditation practice. She left California her home state in 2020 and now resides in Hill Country Texas on wild land where she grows medicinal herbs with her partner and younger daughter.
One of our country’s most important freedoms is that of free speech.

What a lovely, thoughtful and inspiring conversation Ora and Shiva. I too have similarly come to realize we currently live in a world where being good and doing good is treated by our overlords and their servants as the ultimate “sin”. Blessed are people like you who strive to do good for yourselves and others and have seen through the crazy efforts of powerful, omnipresent manipulative mind control tactics by maniacs trying to take over the entire world. We get maliciously attacked and punished whenever we pop up out of the crowd and say this is wrong or this is absurd or call out the harm that is being done to others. We even get attacked for trying to prevent others from being harmed and trying to save lives. The overlords are treating people as fodder for the voracious global machine and heaven help you or I if we get in their way. There are many religious texts that warn us about times like this and urge us to stay strong and not grow weary in doing good. The purveyors of evil upon the world can punish our bodies, they can make us suffer in all kinds of ways, but they cannot touch our souls unless we let them. Stay strong and keep seeking truth and goodness for all.
I too am a woman concerned about the attempts at my erasure. I am pro-humanity and believe every life of every single one of us is precious. I am pro-positive spirituality seeking to become a better person. I believe in the inherit goodness of the Creator of all and derive sustenance and strength from Mother Nature. I have come to realize that our struggle is not merely in the physical realm but even more in the spiritual realm and we must learn to fight this existential war on all fronts. We must support, encourage and sustain one another in finding a better way for the world. We must derive strength from each other and turn away the forces whispering in our ears with clever and sly words appealing to our fears and seeking to turn us against one another. Ultimately good will triumph over evil, a truth we need to hold on to if we have to suffer perhaps even for quite a long time for being good and loving.
