“CITIZENS CORNER”: Equal Means Equal!
Yesterday President Joe Biden commented on the new Texas law that restricts abortions after six weeks of gestation.
President Biden said the law “blatantly” violated Roe v. Wade without bothering to point out that abortion rights would be less vulnerable to attack by states like Texas if the ERA were in the Constitution.
Yet Joe Biden himself is blocking the ERA and continuing to fight against Women’s equality in two federal lawsuits. People who care about abortion rights know very well that if Women had full Equal Protection rights under the Fourteenth Amendment, all their rights, including abortion, would be better protected against encroachments like the law in Texas.
We need the Equal Rights Amendment to correct the deliberate exclusion of Women from the 14th Amendment and provide us with the umbrella of equal legal protection.
Yet Joe Biden is intentionally blocking the ERA and fighting against it and us in court, while claiming to care about abortion rights.
Here are the facts:
The so-called deadline on the Equal Rights Amendment is unconstitutional; thus void from the beginning because it wasn’t in the text of the amendment.
Biden can instruct the Archivist to PUBLISH the ERA TODAY.
AG Garland can withdraw the Barr Memo today.
Bottom line, equality warriors: We find ourselves fighting against a tidal wave of hypocrisy, corruption, collusion and MONEY around keeping women legally and physically subjugated by those that we have entrusted to fight by our side.
But we’re not going anywhere. Last warning to all feminist frauds and colluders – gloves are off.
