“VP Pick Nicole Shanahan on America’s Future”
This riveting video explores the background and interests of a much-discussed by little/known new figure on the national stage, RFK Jr’s running mate, technologist, and activist/lawyer Nicole Shanahan. From her childhood raised by an immigrant mother who fled totalitarianism, and with another parent suffering mental illness in the home, Shanahan describes the lessons she learned. She also shares what it was like to be a female Founder in the ‘golden era’ of tech; her struggles with fertility, which led her to fund research into supporting and extending women’s natural fertility; and the fact of her daughter’s autism diagnosis led her to become passionate about children’s health. Shanahan has been covered superficially, due to her former marriage to Google cofounder Sergey Brin. This historic interview meets the candidate for VP – if elected, she would be the first female VP raising a young child – on her terms.

I don’t believe in ad hominem remarks, but given the stakes here – the possibility of someone’s finger on the nuclear trigger – I must register my astonishment at Bobby Kennedy’s selection for VP. This young lady’s ego is so underdeveloped and fragile relative to the office she is seeking that Bobby Kennedy could reasonably be accused of a form of child exploitation.
If this comment is construed as ad hominem, and thus removed by the moderators, fine, I understand. But please don’t delete any commenters who may want to address the gold-digger issue, and the frozen/tortured look on Naomi’s face as she tried to gingerly address that subject. .
This was very hard for me to get through.I fast forwarded through much of this. I don’t understand the interview. She seems like a very nice woman. I would maybe like her as a new NOW leader. She would be 2nd in line to be the President of the US. She seemed smart and sweet, but also somewhat childlike. Where does she stand on national issues? The border? Crime? The debt? The current administration? Abortion.. .any limits? School choice? Taxes?. etc.. What about international issues? Ukraine? Israel? Europe? The WEF? Syria, etc These are the questions a VP candidate should be addressing. I have much respect for RFK jr. but as much as I like her as a person, I do not think this was a wise choice at all. Sorry to be a downer.. just expected her to be a more serious candidate.
