Roundup: Court Orders EPA To Re-Examine Risks
Beyer AG, the maker of troubled weed killer Roundup had a mixed week in important court decisions.
An Oregon gardener claiming his cancer was caused by using the product lost his case,
But in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency was ordered to look again at whether its main ingredient, Glyphosate poses unreasonable risks.
The EPA had reauthorized the use of Glyphosate in January 2020.
