Geneva Bible Reading Exodus 3, Multiple Cases of G-d’s Intimacy with Humans

This is the most mistranslated chapter yet in our journey — G-d’s relationship to humans, down to how His NAME is mistranslated, is dramatically watered down — a bit in the Geneva Bible but hugely in the Revised Standard Version. Multiple cases of G-d’s intimacy with humans are altered to lead Him to seem more distant.

I’m so grateful for this teaching. I would love to listen live. When is the next lesson?

I would not say Mistranslated in the Geneva 1599 only done in a way that was done with a different presupposition and epistemology than your own reading.
By the way, the 1599 is preferred over the 1560 so you can see a more accurate translation with the marginal references. It helps you to understand how the first reformation really took off after the initial beginning in Scotland in 1560 with John Knox. I am so impressed with your open mind on many subjects that seem taboo in your previous circles of influence. Nice work!
