Louisiana Supreme Court Sides with Pastor Tony Spell – Agrees that COVID Orders Violated His Freedom of Religion.
Pastor Tony Spell (above) held Church services for hundreds of people in March 2020. This was in violation of the 50 person limit imposed by Louisiana Governor John Bell Edwards at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Today the Reverend defeated what he had called a ‘dictator law’, when Louisiana’s Supreme Court agreed with him that the restrictions on religious gatherings were unconstitutional.
