FBI Probes Trans Activist Groups Over Possible Charlie Kirk Plot
Federal investigators are now digging into whether a trans-activist network plotted against Charlie Kirk, after uncovering social media posts that suggest some individuals may have had advance knowledge of the planned assassination.
Fox News contributor Dan Bongino said on Monday that “there appear to have been multiple warning signs” of Tyler Robinson’s alleged intent to assassinate Kirk at the Utah Valley University Turning Point USA event.
According to reports, several trans-identifying and LGBT-associated accounts posted messages predicting Kirk’s death, some explicitly naming Sept. 10 as the day. Screenshots obtained by the Washington Free Beacon include one post from Sept. 3 reading: “itd be funny if someone like charlie kirk got shot on september 10th LMAO.”
Another user, @NajraGalvz, allegedly posted: “Charlie Kirk is coming to my college tomorrow i rlly hope someone evaporates him literally,” followed by, “Lets just say something big will happen tomorrow.”
The FBI is also examining the role of Armed Queers Salt Lake City, a radical socialist LGBTQ group whose deleted accounts once promoted firearms training, Cuban revolutionary trips, and the “armed and militant protection of queer and trans communities.” Investigators are also looking at online chatter on the gaming platform Steam.
Utah Gov. Spencer Cox confirmed that Robinson’s family told authorities the suspect had grown more political in recent years, describing him as influenced by “leftist ideology.” FBI Director Kash Patel added that Robinson allegedly texted someone about having “an opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk.”
The FBI trans activist Charlie Kirk plot probe has not accused Robinson’s transgender boyfriend of any crime, but investigators are scrutinizing online subcultures and groups that may have celebrated, encouraged, or foreseen the assassination.
