BULLETIN BOARD: Walk with the NYC Veterans Alliance in the footsteps of Revolutionary War troops!
August is our birthday month, and we’re inviting veterans, family members, and civilian allies to a special event honoring NYC’s military heritage since 1776. Join us Sunday, August 25th for the Battle of Brooklyn Ruck March for Veterans & Families!
Walk in the footsteps of Continental soldiers in the 1776 Battle of Brooklyn and explore NYC’s military heritage in a 17.76-mile ruck march, guided by military veterans! We’ll end our march with a Remembrance Ceremony at the Brooklyn War Memorial, followed by a Post-March Reception. Here are ways you can get involved:
March with Us! Registration is $45, which includes t-shirt, lunch, water & snacks, and drinks & appetizers at our post-march reception! Sign up HEREbefore we reach capacity!
Meet Us At the Finish! Our march ends at 5:30PM with a Remembrance Ceremony at the Brooklyn War Memorial that is free and open to the public. We also welcome all to join us for the Post-March Reception! Get your reception tickets HERE.
