Princeton Parent Pleads for Students’ Medical Freedom
To whom it may concern,
I recently called Princeton to inquire about your Covid booster policy for the 2022-23 school year and the person on the phone told me that she had no idea about it and to email this address.
Cornell has already announced that they will not be mandating their students to get another Covid booster injection to be able to remain as a student at Cornell for the 2022-23 school year. This is the only logical thing to do now that we all know (and the CDC has announced) that Covid vaccines do not prevent transmission or infection and their efficacy wanes after a few months. So many Princeton students continued to get Covid even after their forced booster requirement to be able to remain on campus for the spring semester.
So many Princeton students now have both vaccinated and natural immunity.
The FDA authorized the 4th shot without input from its expert voting panel for adults over the age of 50. You should be able to make the announcement that you will not be forcing this on Princeton students just like Cornell did.
Do you know how many college students (including my own)
got these injections under duress, coercion and fear?
The fear of being kicked out of school was overwhelming for my child. Knowing my child did not want to get it, I urged her to seek an exemption. She was too scared to do that for fear of segregation, discrimination and shaming. My child asked for a list of ingredients in the Covid shots when she went to get them. They did not have a list at the pharmacy. There was ZERO informed consent for my child. She was forced to get an injection that she did not want. Princeton has shown her that you have no regard for informed consent or bodily autonomy. She is now in a constant state of stress and worry as to the future of her health (especially from the J and J shot once again being paused for blood clots). This fear is real. Do you wish to continue to impose this kind of stress and fear on your students? Where is the concern for their mental health? Since receiving these vaccines her menstrual cycle has been completely irregular which has added continuing stress to her life.
She asked me the other day, “Do you think I will ever be able to get pregnant?”
My heart breaks that she is in this situation due to coercion and fear. If it were up to me, I would have her transfer to a school with no forced mandates.
There are also the JAMA and NEJM studies showing the risk of myocarditis from these vaccines is real. Dr. Paul Offit states “boosters are not risk free.” The Pfizer data release states that it is “unknown” if their vaccine has an impact on fertility. Are you willing to force these risks on your students? Do you know for sure that you are not harming their immune systems by forcing repeated boosters on your students? Pfizer’s own documents show that the risk of VAED is listed as an “important potential risk.”
With risk, there must be choice for these precious young lives.
India’s Supreme Court just banned forced vaccines, stating it violates section 21 of their constitution that protects individuals’ bodily integrity and personal autonomy. This country needs to do the same to show young women (and men) that they value bodily integrity and informed consent. Princeton students have done everything you have forced them to do even subjecting themselves to injections that they did not want to get just so that they could remain at Princeton and not face discrimination and shame. Please follow Cornell and make the announcement that you will not be forcing students to get another Covid booster to be able to remain as a student at Princeton.
They should not have to live with this looming fear any longer.
Sincerely,
A concerned parent of a Princeton student
