Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to use certain reporting and accountability procedures in implementing the public land trust reporting requirements of Act 178, Session Laws of Hawaii 2006. Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to consult with the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to ensure that the accounting and reporting is accurate and inclusive.

Relating To Individual Housing Accounts. [SB-742]
Increases the cap amounts of the tax deduction for individual housing accounts. Repeals requirement for the payment of taxes on distributions used for the purchase of a first principal residence. Requires each employer in the State to provide its employees with an option for the automatic direct deposit of their wages into the employees' individual housing accounts.
