Border Wall Trust Fund Act This bill authorizes the Department of the Treasury to accept donations to plan, design, construct, or maintain a barrier along the U.S.-Mexico international border. The Department of Homeland Security shall provide for a commemorative display as an integrated part of the barrier recognizing individuals who contributed to the Border Wall Trust Fund established by this bill.

Good Samaritan Health Professionals Act of 2017 [HB-1876]
Good Samaritan Health Professionals Act of 2017 This bill amends the Public Health Service Act to shield a health care professional from liability under federal or state law for harm caused by any act or omission if: (1) the professional is serving as a volunteer in response to a disaster; and (2) the act or omission occurs during the period of the disaster, in the professional's capacity as a volunteer, and in a good faith belief that the individual being treated is in need of health care services. This protection from liability does not apply

Critical Access Hospital Relief Act of 2018 [HB-5507]
Critical Access Hospital Relief Act of 2018 This bill repeals the 96-hour physician-certification requirement for inpatient critical access hospital services under Medicare. Under current law, as a condition for Medicare payment for such services, a physician must certify that a patient may reasonably be expected to be discharged or transferred to a hospital within 96 hours after admission to the critical access hospital.

Recognizing Early Childhood Trauma Related to Substance Abuse Act of 2018 This bill requires the Department of Health and Human Services to provide resources to early childhood care and education providers and other professionals working with young children on ways to recognize and respond to children who may be affected by a family member's or other adult's substance abuse. Such resources must include information on risk-assessment, age-appropriate care, and response options that support the whole family.
