Providing deputy shall continue to discharge duties of any principal until successor is elected or appointed [SB-205]
The purpose of this bill is to provide that when there is a death, conviction or impeachment, failure to qualify, resignation or other disability of any principal officer, a deputy shall continue to discharge the duties of the principal until a successor is elected or appointed. The existing statute only deals with a situation where the principal dies.

Relating generally to human trafficking [SB-296]
The purpose of this bill is to strengthen and establish criminal offenses relating to human trafficking. The bill eliminates an existing criminal offense and penalty for human trafficking, and establishes a new article with multiple offenses and penalties. In addition to human trafficking, the bill creates felony offenses and penalties for using an individual in forced labor, debt bondage, and commercial sexual activity. Increasing tax credit for qualified rehabilitated buildings investment [SB-323]
The purpose of this bill is to increase the tax credit for qualified rehabilitated buildings investment. The bill sets a date after which the increase applies to new rehabilitation expenditures. The bill adjusts the tax credits with respect to both personal income tax and corporate net income tax.
