Federal Land Freedom Act of 2017 This bill authorizes a state with an established oil and gas leasing program to take responsibility from the federal government for leasing and regulating the exploration and development of oil, gas, and other forms of energy on federal land in the state. Any state actions to lease, permit, or regulate oil and gas exploration and development shall not be subject to federal action under certain laws, including the Administrative Procedure Act, the Endangered Species Act of 1973, and the National Environmental Policy

Workplace Advancement Act This bill amends the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to prohibit discharging or retaliating against any employee because such employee has inquired about, discussed, or disclosed comparative compensation information for the purpose of determining whether the employer is compensating an employee in a manner that provides equal pay for equal work. Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area Act [S.401]
Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area Act This bill establishes the Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area to include specified counties in the states of Maryland and West Virginia. The bill designates the Appalachian Forest Heritage Area, Inc., as the local coordinating entity for the area. The bill also requires the Appalachian Forest Heritage Area, Inc., to submit a management plan that provides for the protection, enhancement, and interpretation of cultural, natural, historical, educational, scenic, and recreational resources of the area.

Furthering Access to Stroke Telemedicine Act This bill amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to specify that certain siting requirements applicable under the Medicare program shall not apply to telehealth services that are furnished after 2017 for purposes of evaluating an acute stroke. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services shall not pay an originating-site facility fee with respect to such telehealth services.
