Maternal and Child Health Stillbirth Prevention Act of 2024
This bill aims to make changes to the Social Security Act to focus on preventing stillbirths and conducting research on the topic. The funds allocated for this purpose can now be used for evidence-based programs like tracking fetal movements, improving birth timing for at-risk pregnancies, promoting safe sleeping positions during pregnancy, screening for fetal growth issues, helping women quit smoking during pregnancy, community-based programs offering home visits, and any other research or evidence-based programs to prevent stillbirths.
