AN ACT CONCERNING DEMOLITION OF CERTAIN SINGLE -FAMILY RESIDENCES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subsection (c) of section 29 -402 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate a provision regarding demolition of a single - family residence under certain circumstances without a license from the Department of Administrative Services for demolition services.

Statement of Purpose:

To remove ambiguity from state law that in order to demolish a home a demolition permit is required.
