The attacks occurred in homes and at public gatherings.

Hamas as a Foreign Terrorist Organization

The resolution acknowledges that Hamas is designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the United States. This designation signifies that Hamas engages in terrorist activities that threaten the national security of the United States. It also recognizes that the attacks carried out by Hamas have resulted in the deaths of dozens of Americans.
