Relating to Sunday hunting laws [SB-278]
The purpose of this bill is to permit hunting on Sundays on private land with the consent of the landowner. The bill also eliminates ballot measures pertaining to Sunday hunting and voids the results of any ballot measure prohibiting Sunday hunting.

Establishing four-year pilot program to have social workers in public schools [SB-312]
The purpose of this bill is to establish a four-year pilot program to have social workers in public schools, from prekindergarten through the elementary school. The bill requires a minimum of one social worker per county. The bill requires guidelines and criteria relating to the pilot programs be prescribed. The bill defines “social worker.” The bill requires annual and final reports.

Increasing tax credit for qualified rehabilitated buildings investment [SB-323]
The purpose of this bill is to increase the tax credit for qualified rehabilitated buildings investment. The bill sets a date after which the increase applies to new rehabilitation expenditures. The bill adjusts the tax credits with respect to both personal income tax and corporate net income tax.

Relating to medical professional liability [SB-338]
The purpose of this bill is to amend the Medical Professional Liability Act by adding a definition for “occurrence,” providing for a preference of venue, establishing an attorney’s fees schedule based upon the amount recovered, establishing the effective date and providing for severability.
