The bill requires the Department of Veterans Services to provide an action plan to the Chairmen of the House Appropriations Committee and the Senate Finance Committee and to the Secretaries of Veterans and Defense Affairs and Finance prior to the allocation of any bonds. Grand larceny; threshold. Increases from $200 to $500 the threshold amount of money taken or value of goods or chattel taken at which the crime rises from petit larceny to grand larceny. The bill increases the threshold by the same amount for the classification of certain property crimes.

Improper driving; jury hearing case. [HB-1370]
Improper driving; jury. Provides that a jury hearing a case involving a person charged with reckless driving where the accused's degree of culpability is slight may find the accused not guilty of reckless driving but guilty of improper driving, which is punishable as a traffic infraction. Currently, only the court hearing the case may find the accused guilty of improper driving.
