SB 2024 - Trooper Tom Nipper Memorial Highway

This bill designates a portion of Interstate Highway 35 in Bell County, Texas, between mile markers 294 and 297 as the Trooper Tom Nipper Memorial Highway. This means that this stretch of highway will be named in memory of Trooper Tom Nipper. The Texas Department of Transportation will install markers indicating the designation and will place them at various points along the highway.

If the bill receives a two-thirds vote in both the Senate and the House, it will take effect immediately. Otherwise, it will take effect on September 1, 2019.
