Relating To Motor Vehicles. [HB-2526]
Increases the penalty for a third or subsequent offense involving the unauthorized driving or operation of motor vehicles to a class C felony. Authorizes the court, as part of the person's sentencing for the third or subsequent offense, to order that the vehicle used by the person in the commission of the offense be subject to forfeiture. Takes effect 7/1/2024. (SD1)

Relating To Intoxication. [SB-2881]
Prohibits any person from intentionally encouraging or coercing any other person to consume alcohol or any other intoxicant for the purpose of enabling the other person to operate a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant. Provides that a person guilty of this offense shall be subject to the same penalties imposed on a person convicted of operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant.
