A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled
"Michigan memorial highway act,"
by amending sections 11 and 14 (MCL 250.1011 and 250.1014), and by adding section 14a.
the people of the state of michigan enact:
Sec. 11. The portion of highway US-31 beginning at the border between Michigan and Indiana in Berrien county County and extending to the Straits of Mackinac at the county line of Emmet and Cheboygan countiesCounties, excluding the portion of highway US-31 in Oceana County beginning at the W. Shelby Road exit 144 and continuing north to the Hart Polk Road exit 149, shall be known as the "Blue Star Memorial Highway".
Sec. 14. The part of highway US-31 beginning at the county line of Muskegon and Oceana counties Counties and extending north to the county line of Mason and Manistee counties Counties, excluding the portion of highway US-31 in Oceana County beginning at the W. Shelby Road exit 144 and continuing north to the Hart Polk Road exit 149, shall be known as the "Pere Marquette Memorial Highway".
Sec. 14a. The portion of highway US-31 in Oceana County beginning at the W. Shelby Road exit 144 and continuing north to the Hart Polk Road exit 149 shall be known as the "PFC Brett Witteveen Memorial Highway".
