     A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

 

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

 

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 40113b.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 40113b. If the department or commission issues an order

 

under this part authorizing deer management assistance permits, all

 

of the following apply:

 

     (a) A permittee under a deer management assistance permit may

 

charge an authorized shooter the actual cost of the deer management

 

assistance permit.

 

     (b) If an authorized shooter violates a deer management

 

assistance permit, the department shall not, based only on that

 

violation, do any of the following:

 

     (i) Impose a fine on the permittee.

 

     (ii) Revoke the deer management assistance permit for the

 

permittee.

 

     (iii) Suspend the permittee's ability to obtain a deer

 

management assistance permit.
