ORTT -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to the definition of person The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 125.05 of the penal law is amended 2 to read as follows: 3 1. "Person," when referring to the victim of a homicide, means a human 4 being who has been born and is alive.
