      A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled

 

"The code of criminal procedure,"

 

by amending section 11a of chapter XVII (MCL 777.11a), as amended

 

by 2005 PA 265.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

 1                                 CHAPTER XVII

 

 2        Sec. 11a. This chapter applies to the following felonies

 

 3  enumerated in chapters 1 to 27 of the Michigan Compiled Laws:

 6        Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

 7  after the date it is enacted into law.

 

 8        Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect

 

 9  unless Senate Joint Resolution ____ or House Joint Resolution ____

 

10  (request no. 05156'17 a) of the 99th Legislature becomes a part of

 

11  the state constitution of 1963 as provided in section 1 of article

 

12  XII of the state constitution of 1963.

 

13        Enacting section 3. This amendatory act does not take effect

 

14  unless Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 5730 (request no.
